{"id":5686,"date":"2020-05-27T14:20:11","date_gmt":"2020-05-27T13:20:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/defbelgium.be\/?page_id=5686"},"modified":"2023-06-26T14:51:05","modified_gmt":"2023-06-26T13:51:05","slug":"privacy-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.defbelgium.be\/en\/privacy-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"PRIVACY POLICY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Personal data protection is particularly governed by EU Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and Council dated 27 April 2016 relating to the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, otherwise called the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter the \u00ab <strong>GDPR<\/strong> \u00bb) and Act n\u00b0 78-17 dated 6 January 1978 amended referred to as \u00ab Information Technology and Privacy Act \u00bb (hereinafter \u00ab <strong>Act n\u00b0 78-17<\/strong> \u00bb).<\/p>\n<p>As part of its business, <strong>R\u00e9seau DEF<\/strong>, a private limited liability company with a share capital of 20.976.137,80 euros, whose head office is located at Parc d\u2019Activit\u00e9s du Moulin de Massy, 7 rue du Saule Trapu \u2013 91300 Massy, registered with the Business Register of Evry under the number 340 087 576 and all of its entities within the meaning of Article L233-1 of the Commercial Code (hereinafter, \u201c<strong>DEF Belgium<\/strong>) collects and processes for its account the personal data of their customers, prospective customers, subcontractors, service providers or various partners (hereinafter referred to generally as \u201cCustomers\u201c).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the GDPR and Act No. 78-17, <strong>DEF Belgium<\/strong> agrees to comply with this Privacy Policy (hereinafter the \u201c<strong>Privacy Policy<\/strong>\u201c) in the context of any personal data processing that it implements.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to inform all Customers in a clear manner about the data that <strong>DEF Belgium<\/strong> collects, what it does with such data, how long it retains them, the people it is likely to pass them to, the rights of the persons concerned and the protective measures that it implements.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 style=\"margin-bottom:20px;display:block;width:100%;margin-top:10px\">PRIVACY POLICY <\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<style>\r\n\t\t\t\t<style>\r\n#wpsm_accordion_5698 .wpsm_panel-heading{\r\n\tpadding:0px !important;\r\n}\r\n#wpsm_accordion_5698 .wpsm_panel-title {\r\n\tmargin:0px !important; Types of personal data that is collected\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t  <\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"ac_5698_collapse4\" class=\"wpsm_panel-collapse collapse \"  >\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t  <div class=\"wpsm_panel-body\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDEF Belgium collects and processes personal data that the Client voluntarily discloses to it either by means of a collection form, or when entering into a service contract and \/ or acquisition of products.\r\n\r\nCustomers are informed on each personal data collection form of the mandatory or optional nature of the responses by the presence of an asterisk.\r\n\r\nWhere answers are required, DEF Belgium explains to the Customers the consequences of a lack of response.\r\n\r\nThe personal data collected in this context are as follows:\r\n\r\nNON-TECHNICAL DATA (depending on the use case):\r\n\r\n(i) Identification: name, surname, title, position, pseudonym, pseudo social networks;\r\n\r\n(ii) Contact information: phone, e-mail address, postal address, fax, ...;\r\n\r\n(iii) Photo: when you grant us this right (usually taken during an event or interview at our events);\r\n\r\n(iv) Professional life: occupation, degrees, professional background, ...;\r\n\r\n(v) Banking data as necessary;\r\n\r\n(vi) Personal life and lifestyle (e.g., shopping habits, purchase plans).\r\n\r\nDEF Belgium collects and processes the Customer's personal data relating to his browsing and behaviour on a website published by DEF Belgium.\r\n\r\nThe personal data collected in this context are as follows:\r\n\r\nTECHNICAL DATA (depending on the use case)\r\n\r\n(i) Identification Data (IP)\r\n\r\n(ii) Connection data (logs in particular)\r\n\r\n(iii) Data on consent (click) mainly for access to our services (Sentinel etc.)\r\n\r\n\u00a0\r\n\r\nDEF Belgium does not deal with sensitive data in the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR (personal data that show racial or ethnic origin, philosophical, political, trade union, religious opinions, sexual or health life).\t\t\t\t\t\t  <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<!-- Inner panel End -->\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<!-- Inner panel Start -->\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wpsm_panel wpsm_panel-default\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wpsm_panel-heading\" role=\"tab\" >\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t  <h4 class=\"wpsm_panel-title\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a  class=\"collapsed\"  data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#wpsm_accordion_5698 \" href=\"javascript:void(0)\" data-target=\"#ac_5698_collapse5\" onclick=\"do_resize()\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"ac_open_cl_icon fa fa-plus\"><\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"ac_title_class\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tArticle 5. Recipients of the personal data\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t  <\/h4>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"ac_5698_collapse6\" class=\"wpsm_panel-collapse collapse \"  >\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t  <div class=\"wpsm_panel-body\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAll the personal data collected and processed by DEF Belgium are strictly confidential.\r\n\r\nDEF Belgium agrees not to pass on the personal data of its Customers to a third party that may use them for its own purposes, without their formal consent.\r\n\r\nDEF Belgium ensures that the data are accessible only to authorized internal or external recipients.\r\n\r\n<strong>In-house recipients:<\/strong>\r\n\r\n(i) All employees of DEF Belgium.
